In this piece of land we begin our journey from small Venezia, Chioggia, a nice and lively seaside town, its Venetian-style buildings that rise on the canals and its ancient bridge seem to almost evoke the times of the Doges and the Serenissima Republic.
Going up through the province we arrive in Stra, which houses one of the most beautiful buildings in the Veneto region, Villa Pisani, also called the "National", a magnificent eighteenth-century building. Not far away we find Dolo, a small Venetian town that still retains traces of an important and glorious past.
Noale is a quiet town in the Venetian hinterland with numerous artistic beauties and strong traditions. The palaces and churches of the historic center testify to a great past, closely linked to the stories of Treviso and Venezia.
Continuing we arrive at Concordia Sagittaria, founded in 42 BC, it was an extraordinary Roman military colony with the name of Julia Concordia, actively participated in the life of the Roman Empire and was involved in wars to counter the invasions of the Huns of Attila. Finally, the pearl of Portogruaro, described by Ippolito Nievo as "a hypothetical island built in the image of the Serenissima".
