Arquà Petrarca is one of the most beautiful towns in Italy and is located at the foot of Piccolo Mount and Ventolone Mount in the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills. Inserted in 2011 in the list of World Heritage by UNESCO, it has very ancient origins, and this is evidenced by the discovery of a prehistoric bronze-age pile-dwelling station near Lake Costa.

The current inhabited nucleus still maintains its enchanting fourteenth-century charm intact, the charm of which the famous Tuscan poet Francesco Petrarca fell in love. In fact, the poet decided to spend the last years of his life right here, probably because this small village reminded him of his beloved homeland.

After the poet's death in 1374, Arquà's fame grew ever greater and his home, together with the funeral monument, are still today a destination for literary pilgrimages and cultural visits. The beauty of the alleys of its historic center and the ability to enhance its local products have allowed this small village to become a destination for tourism that ranges from the cultural to the food and wine sector.

Arquà Petrarca is located in a strategic position, in the heart of the province of Padua and within the Euganean Hills Regional Park, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, panoramic points and tranquil oases.
