In this chapter we discuss the King's Road Excursion, through the Tibetan bridge, large valleys and historical monuments of the Great War.
The King's Road Excursion is a fairly easy and very fun ride to do, located on the Piccole Dolomites in the Vicenza Prealps. It was inaugurated in 1918 by Vittorio Emanuele III, from whom it took its name, and it was an important route for climbing the Pasubio and Sengio Alto massifs. Today this beautiful walk is very popular, even for those with small children, because it is both easy to reach and to tackle.
After the bridge, continue towards the Campogrosso rifugio for a picnic, through the spectacular panorama of the Piccole Dolomites. Then the path continues with a short climb up to a wide plateau, where you can meet grazing cows, thus reaching the fork at 1585 meters, from here you go down to the parking lot through the woods.
The excursion is suitable for anyone, the route is very popular with people walking and families, thanks also to the well-kept road surface. Pay attention to the ice that forms during the winter. We recommend a calm pace, to enjoy the wonderful landscape that will surround you.
