The Antorno Lake

The Antorno Lake is a small and pretty lake located about 2 kilometers north of the famous Misurina lake, along the road that leads to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, in the province of Belluno. Nestled at 1866 meters in the Sesto Dolomites group, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009, it is an excellent starting point for excursions to Mount Piana, the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and the Cadini di Misurina.

Easily accessible by car, it is ideal for spending a few hours of relaxation away from city stress, or for eating some typical mountain dishes in the nearby chalet.

It is a natural basin with a significant naturalistic interest, in fact in this small earthly paradise you can admire different types of flowers characteristic of the alpine habitat, such as numerous rare plant species, we mention the Potamogeton Natans, known for its typical oval leaves that rest flush of water.
