In this chapter we discuss a trip to the Park of the Bellunesi Dolomites through the woods and meadows of the Val Prampèr: the Malga Prampèr excursion.
The Malga Prampèr excursion, located in the municipality of Forno di Zoldo in the Bellunesi Dolomites National Park, is a walk that, although little known, allows you to immerse yourself in the most pristine and free nature.
For those with more difficulties, the structure is equipped with a shuttle that leaves from Pian de la Fopa every day of August and, only on weekends, in the months of July and September. Arriving from Forno di Zoldo, park the car at Pian de la Fopa, at 1,210 meters and take the CAI path 523 to reach Pian dei Palui at 1,480 meters (journey time 45 min).
From here continue along the forest road until you reach Malga Prampèr at 1,540 meters, beautifully nestled in a lush plateau surrounded by Cima di Prampèr at 2,409 meters and Cima de la Forzelete at 2,448 meters.
From here you can take numerous paths and mule tracks or sit in one of the many benches to rest and enjoy a nice lunch based on typical products. The excursion is suitable for anyone, the route is quite popular with strolling people and families, thanks also to the well-kept road surface. Pay attention to the ice that forms during the winter. We recommend a calm pace to enjoy the wonderful landscape that will surround you.
