The Valbelluna is an amazing valley that extends in the southern part of the province of Belluno. This lush valley is delimited to the north by the Belluno Dolomites by its imposing peaks, which stand out on the Venetian plain and offer breathtaking views of the Dolomites, a World Heritage Site.
This beautiful valley offers the opportunity to fully enjoy the magic of the mountain, thanks to the small villages set along the way, to the green valleys and to the large forests that cover the slopes of the mountains. The most precious treasure of Valbelluna are its typical products, which boast a long production tradition and which preserve the unique flavors of these mountains. In particular, agri-food products are a perfect extract of the man-nature combination.
The gastronomic tradition has always been linked to the wild and semi-wild breeding of cattle mainly, transforming meats, salami and cheeses into unique products.
The whole territory, except for some high altitude karst areas, is extremely rich in water resources such as waterways, swamps and springs, thus supporting the biological wealth of the valley.
