Known for its elegant Art Nouveau architecture and its waters, Recoaro Terme is a beautiful reality located along the Agno stream, between the Pasubio mountains, not far from Valdagno and Schio. Like so many other Italian cities, Recoaro also has a very distant history, made up of invasions and settlements, which built the graceful inhabited center that we see today. It was first dominated by the Scaligeri, then passed into the hands of the Visconti and finally, in the fifteenth century, by the Republic of Venice.

However, only in 1689, the year in which Count Lelio Piovene discovered the mineral waters, that there was a first and true development for this town. The real progress, however, came in the nineteenth century, when there was a real growth linked to the curative exploitation of the waters, thanks to the domination of the Habsburg empire. With the Second World War the city became the seat of the Nazi command which, understanding the importance of the source, began bottling the waters.

Not far from Recoaro Terme we find the splendid resort surrounded by the greenery of Recoaro Mille, a renowned area suitable for fans of winter sports and natural beauty that can be enjoyed during the summer season. It is located at the foot of the Piccole Dolomites mountain range, surrounded by high rocky peaks, ancient forests, alpine lakes and green valleys. An ideal place to do various types of sports, such as walking, mountain biking, hiking, climbing or to spend simple days away from city stress. A perfect area to spend summer and winter holidays, in a place where nature and history merge, between breathtaking landscapes and typical food and wine products of these lands.
